How it started 2( changes)

We are on part2 but first,I want to thank those who showed interest in part one and I know some of you were surprised right. Well part2.

Tiamacren was on some beautiful blogs like Dulcer Camer,Nexdim Empire,I rep Camer  and a whole lots of others. We started getting messages and emails and invitations to take part in different shows around the world, like Baltimore Fashion week. New York African Fashion week etc... Well, things didnt work out well for us all as we had our various misunderstandings(normal with group works). And at the end,we all decided to part ways😔😔😔 sad right?. But it was amicable and we still worked together even as we went solo.
Mac found her own fashion Label and Tia had to follow her dreams as a model. Now I was to continue with the brand name, but unfortunately, I never wanted it as well,so I had to switch to AFROSHIC CLOTHING. Yes yes and I launched it with rebirth fashion show in 2011 -2012.
There go,our beautiful backdrop done by publicity and design Douala. Afroshic also became a famous fashion brand by myself, but it had an obstacle, the name . I kept on receiving messages about the name which was also owned by another fashion brand Afrochic. The difference was the S and C. So I did not give a head about it. So Afroshic also made headlines on different blogs, this time even Nigerian blogs and other countries wrote articles about us. Then we had the best of inspired clothings . I remember my favorite collection "Diary of a happy woman",which went as far as being featured on south African magazine "Tropic Magazine".

Tropic magazine
Cameroon travelers magazine.
Don't ask me how come I still have all this photos.hahaha that's a top secret. Then,I had workers who did my work but when things fell apart, that is I was banking in a cooperative bank(sorry I will not mentioned the name),when some day in 2013, I got the news it shut down. I was in Douala at that time,I rushed to Buea when all the workers and the bank was all down .Then I lost my money I had been saving there. I was confused,I didn't know what to do,I did not have a lawyer to back me up,all I had to do was weep and weep. I remembered locking myself sometimes home and doing nothing. I told just my neighbours at that time.
Question was,how do I continue my business with no finance? I had no boyfriend to support me. I couldn't tell my family anything like they will first crusify me for using a cooperative credit union..
I was down for three months, but I never stopped sketching. Some friends I don't know and have never met,we just talk on Facebook send me some money,it wasn't much but I knew I could do something with it.
So I went back to the people who were realising my products or sketches to do me some work, guess what, they had to change the pricing tariffs for clothes. Then I knew it was my first wahala in this business. I paid but I couldn't sell the dresses at a proper price because clients saw them so expensive. I had to think of a means to put up with business and make ends meet for me. Lucky enough my mum send me a sewing machine, but guess what? I did not know how to sew,how do I use this machine?
I kept it and had to look for another tailor to realise my work. We were working so find, though she wasn't perfect but she was ready to learn. But at one point, when I give her money, days later, she will tell me I had not given her,we will argue and I will pay again, sometimes her apprentice will remind her I gave her and then the cade will end. I couldn't keep up with that, considering I was now feeding from hand to mouth. I started doing online competitions for fashion knowing if I win the money I will be good to go with business. But I did not.

Well I will cut the long story short... Let's wait for part3. Remember I said my life is just one of those story books you will love to read and pick a little to learn from.

HOW IT STARTED PART 1

How it all started? Back in 2009,when I visited United Kingdom,I met young creative people below my age and I wanted to be like them. My aunty told me you can be like them, but you have to find that one thing you are passionate about. Well,I knew what I liked and love back then. I loved to draw and play with colours. So on this faithful day,we went to the cinema with my cousin, and while watching a silent movie,I was busy sketching the dog I saw on screen. So when my aunty saw it,she was like;Yes that's it,you can sketch so why not get into painting and all that. My response was,I can't do painting for a living but I will think about it. So when I got back to Cameroon,Off course I came back with some cash. Point is,the money wasn't for business at the beginning.I was spending it with friends. So I put up a sketch of a dress on Facebook, and my childhood friend Evaristus saw it and told me,I can hook you up with this amazing designer I know. My reply was:I am not read...
